The program's goals are to inspire more players to take up our sport, to ensure high-quality training within the framework of long-term performance development, and to create structures within the respective clubs.

A comprehensive set of criteria defines standards in all relevant areas, which are regularly reviewed by the responsible club advisors. A total of 5 stars and 197 points can be achieved in the categories START, U13/U15, U17, U20, and ENVIRONMENT. Once the first two stars have been awarded, further stars can be pursued. At least 80% of the maximum points are required in each category to obtain the respective star. The goal is for as many clubs as possible across the board to be awarded 2 stars.

In addition to monitoring targets, the club support team assists with the further development of individual locations. Exemplary youth talent development is promoted and supported with payments from the funding pool (according to Article 61).
