The U16 national team The team will kick off the 2026/2027 season with a summer training camp. From Friday, August 14, 2026, to Monday, August 17, 2026, the team will meet at the national training center in Füssen for the first joint training session of the new season. U16 national coach Robin Beckers The club has nominated a total of 44 players for the training course. The squad includes four goalkeepers, 16 defenders, and 24 forwards.
Extensive program on and off the ice
The four-day training camp includes four on-ice sessions and additional practice games. The program is supplemented by athletic training, individual meetings between players and coaches, and a training session with the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA).
The summer training camp serves, among other things, to form the squad for the first international matches of the season. The coaching team is supported by Danny Pyka. DEB-Trainer Talent and club support.

After the tournament in Salzburg in April and the athletics camp in May, we now want to lay the foundation for the upcoming season and prepare the players as best as possible for international challenges. The goal is to finalize the squad for the tournament in Slovakia and to convey our playing philosophy and culture to the players.”
First international matches at the end of August
The U16 national team will play its first international matches of the new season from August 27, 2026, as part of a 4-nation tournament in Piešťany, Slovakia.
