Women's team wins 5-1 against Switzerland

The German women They took an early lead. After a back pass, Carina Strobel fired a shot and Mathilda Heine deflected the puck into the net (5th minute). Germany grew stronger as the game progressed. Nevertheless, Germany remained clearly dominant and enjoyed plenty of puck possession. And spaces opened up, as seen in Rose's breakaway in the 50th minute. The key moment then likely occurred in the 53rd minute: DEBGermany's defense was too open, and Hemmerle preserved the two-goal lead with a brilliant save against Livia Tschannen. Almost immediately, Celina Haider effectively sealed the victory with a backhand shot (54th minute). Germany allowed nothing more, and in the 57th minute, Emily Nix coolly slotted home a long pass off the boards to make it a well-deserved 5-1 final score.
