It's also the result of hard work over the past few years. I'm very grateful for the trust and continued support of everyone involved – especially my family. Having already officiated two World Championships as a linesman, I'm now very excited to experience my first IIHF World Championship as a head referee and to take on this challenge at the international level. My goal is to officiate the games fairly and safely, creating the conditions for all teams to have an equal chance of winning.”
DEB-Referee Vincent Brüggemann: “I am delighted to be nominated for such a high-caliber tournament as this year’s U18 World Championship in Slovakia. The best young talents in the world will be competing here – being part of this competition is a huge honor for me.
