Four regional league clubs have submitted their expressions of interest in participating in the licensing process for the upcoming 2026/2027 Oberliga season. The deadline for submission was February 15, 2026. Three clubs from the Oberliga North region and one club from the Oberliga South region have thus expressed their interest in participating in the upcoming season. The deadline for registration for the 2026/2027 season for existing Oberliga clubs and those relegated from the DEL2 is May 15, 2026. All documents relevant for participation in the upcoming season must be submitted by June 1, 2026.
