Further training sessions will follow in the coming days in preparation for the tournament's opening on Thursday, February 5, 2026. The opening match will be against Sweden. The game starts at 12:10 PM and will be broadcast live on Eurosport and ZDF.

Attacker Laura Kluge: “We’re delighted to be here. It’s something special for all of us, especially since it’s our first Olympic Games. Yesterday, we were greeted by a flood of impressions – at first, it was almost a bit overwhelming. But then we had time to collect ourselves and let everything sink in. Today in training, we already had a good pace, the ice quality was excellent – it was fun to be out on the ice with the girls. It makes us look forward to the next few days here in Milan.”
