The Deutscher Eishockey-Bund (DEB) has the contract of women's national coach Jeff MacLeod His contract has been extended for another season. This means the 54-year-old will remain in charge of the women's national team until the end of the 2026/2027 season.
Jeff MacLeod has held this position with the association since June 1, 2023. Previously, he was an assistant coach on the women's national team coaching staff. During his tenure, the DEB-Selection to prevail against the competition at the Olympic qualification tournament in Bremerhaven in February 2025, thus securing the women's team's first participation in the Olympics since 2014. Furthermore, his team reached the quarterfinals twice in a row at the IIHF Women's World Championships in 2024 and 2025. On both occasions, the DEB-Team under his leadership the Deutschland Cup (2024, 2025).
