The first of two double-header match days will take place on April 23, 2026, in Kaufbeuren. The women's team will play against Switzerland at 4:30 p.m., kicking off the day's program. In the evening, the men's team, coached by Harold Kreis, will face Slovakia as part of their World Championship preparations. The match starts at 8:00 p.m.
The next double feature from the two will follow on Saturday, April 25, 2026. DEB-Teams in Augsburg: At 13:30 the women will play against Switzerland again, followed in the evening at 17:00 by the men's second match against Slovakia.

Men's World Cup preparation includes four home international matches
With the announcement of the two double-header match days, the men's national team's World Championship preparation program is now complete, featuring a total of four home internationals. The first phase will take place in the Czech Republic starting on April 13, 2026, where the venues for two matches against the 2024 World Champions are yet to be determined.
