For the first time in the history of Oberliga Süd, there will be a top scorer helmet in the new 2025/2026 season. WEST Legal Tech GmbH & Co. KG with its product CrashMate and the Deutscher Eishockey-Bund (DEB) have jointly launched this project. The respective top scorers of all Oberliga Süd-Teams will be with the Gold helmets and will wear them in all official league games. At the start of the season, the top scorer helmets will be worn by the captains of the respective Oberliga Süd-Clubs. The partnership between the Memmingen startup company and the DEB was agreed for a period of at least three years.
