The Deutscher Eishockey-Bund (DEB) presents two special jerseys, which commemorate formative chapters in German ice hockey history and the values Tradition, passion and prideInspired by the designs of the 70s and 80s, they build a bridge between great moments of the past and today's national teams of the DEB. Both jerseys are from now on in DEB-Fanshop available and celebrate their Premiere at Deutschland Cup 2025 in Landshut – worn by the women’s and men’s national teams.
White jersey: Sensational Olympic bronze in 1976
The white jersey is a tribute to the historic bronze medal win at the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck. This success will be 2026 years old in 50 – a milestone that has had a decisive influence on the development of German ice hockey. Players such as Erich Kühnhackl, Alois Schloder and the long-time DEBPresident Franz Reindl and legendary coach Xaver Unsinn still symbolise the power of tradition and the pride of an entire sporting nation.

Red jersey: cult and passion of the 80s
The red jersey reflects the striking design of the mid-1980s. Back then, the German national team embodied not only commitment, but above all passion and fighting spirit. Current national coach Harold Kreis also wore this jersey as a player – a symbol of the continuity of generations in German ice hockey. To this day, the striking look remains a cult item among collectors.

Harold Circle, DEB-National coach and active national player in the eighties: "I can still remember the jersey very well; it was definitely eye-catching for that time. When the idea and the traditional jersey were presented to us, I first rummaged through photos and then picked out my former national jersey. I can only say: very well chosen and I am happy that we have both jerseys at the Deutschland Cup will wear in 2025.”

The two jerseys will be available exclusively at Deutschland Cup 2025 in Landshut (5 to 9 November, VR Bank Arena) worn by both teams.

Fans The jerseys can now be purchased at the official DEB-Fanshop acquire – in Fan- and authentic versions. The game-worn jerseys with the eagle logo will be auctioned after the tournament. The jerseys will be sold with the DEB-Logo.
