DEB-Sports Director Christian Künast: "We're looking forward to the tournament with great anticipation, as the U20 World Championship is extremely prestigious in North America, and we're expecting a fantastic atmosphere in a hockey-mad US state. It will once again be a major challenge for our team to compete against the best nations in Young Talent Hockey. Therefore, our most important goal from the association's perspective is to remain in the top division of the World Championship. We will be finalizing our roster and World Championship preparations in detail over the coming weeks and months. From our perspective, it's important that the young players receive appropriate ice time at their clubs. Regular game play is what helps our young talents progress."
