MagentaSport has with Inside the 2025 World Cup has released a new three-part documentary series following the German national ice hockey team during the 2025 IIHF World Championship. The series offers exclusive insights behind the scenes of the tournament – from locker room chats to game day, from emotional moments to sporting challenges.
The first episode is now available free of charge on the website of MagentaSportWherein Magenta TV as well as on the official YouTube channel by MagentaSport. Further episodes will follow on Thursday, June 12, and Sunday, June 15.
The series focuses on key figures from the national team, including Moritz Seider, Philipp Grubauer, and Tim Stützle. Together with national coach Harold Kreis, the team is intensively preparing for the group stage of the World Cup, where every point is crucial to reaching the finals.
Inside the 2025 World Cup is the second season of the content series #IceHockeyGermany, which MagentaSport produces in close cooperation with the Deutscher Eishockey-Bund. In its first season, the series already followed the development of the national team and the planning for the 2027 World Championships at home.
By continuing to the 2025 World Cup, MagentaSport is sending a strong media signal for ice hockey in Germany and helping to further increase enthusiasm for the national team.
