After the World Cup preparation games, MagentaSport through an agreement with Sportdeutschland.TV, all German World Cup appearances will be broadcast live on MagentaSport. A total of up to 18 matches will be shown live on MagentaSport. There will also be analyses and news updates from presenter Sascha Bandermann, commentator Alexander Kunz, and expert Patrick Ehelechner. In the on-site studio, the MagentaSport team will welcome guests from the DEB-Camp. Broadcasts of the German games begin 50 minutes before kickoff.

The Ice Hockey World Championship will once again be broadcast on free TV this year on ProSieben, ProSieben MAXX, and Joyn. The channels will broadcast a total of 20 matches – including all German World Championship games on ProSieben.
