National coach Patrick Reimer: "We didn't get into the duels as well today as we did the day before against the Czech Republic and had trouble dealing with the Swedish forecheck. As a result, we spent a lot of time in our own zone and were often a step too slow against a strong opponent. They simply gave us little space. Nevertheless, we showed a good response in the final period to the first two periods and focused on our strengths, which was important in view of our next game against Switzerland."
goalkeeper Bartholomäus Oswald"Especially in the second period, there were too many turnovers on our side, which led to so many goals. We came back well in the final period and played a decent game. The main thing we'll take away from the next game is that we have to play consistently and with focus for 60 minutes."
