The excitement is building for the U20 and U17 playoff series in the German Young Talent League (DNL). While the qualified U20 teams will begin their semifinals on Saturday, March 15, the U17 league's playoff quarterfinal series are just around the corner.
U20 semi-final starts without last year's champions
In this year's U20 DNL playoff quarterfinals, the places one to four of the Top Division main round were able to prevail. Accordingly, the Jungadler Mannheim, the Kölner Junghaie, the Eisbären Juniors Berlin and the ERC Ingolstadt continue to fight for the U20 championship title. Therefore, the semifinal will take place without the reigning champions EV Landshut who won the quarterfinal series against Kölner Junghaien had to admit defeat.
