DEB-Sports director Christian Künast: "We value the personal exchange with our national players who are active in North America. The trip is to be seen as a gesture of goodwill and respect on our part for the achievements that the players achieve overseas. Especially since personal discussions are irreplaceable, especially before the two major events, the 2026 Olympics and the 2027 World Cup, in which there is naturally a lot of interest. We will bring our players up to date and report on the progress in discussions with the club officials. We will also take a lot of important information with us for our work."
National coach Harold Kreis: "I'm looking forward to meeting the players in their familiar surroundings. I also appreciate the exciting and diverse insights that the discussions with those responsible at the clubs and the NHL offer us. It's important to us to have a direct and open level of communication. We provide information about our association's work and goals and take valuable feedback from our discussion partners."
