The team of Hammer Eisbären did not return to the ice after the second break of the game in question. It was therefore not possible to continue the game. The reason given by the Hammer Eisbären the theft of several valuables from the guest locker room. At the end of the second break, the DEB-League management was informed of the situation. A 45-minute extension of the period break was then granted before the game was to be continued. This did not happen even after the deadline had passed.
The present matter was discussed both personally and after written statements from both clubs involved by the DEB-League management recorded and evaluated as stated above. Both clubs have received a corresponding written statement from the DEB on the game score and were also personally informed of the decision by the league management.
This decision can be appealed against within two weeks to the match court of the Deutscher Eishockey-Bund (DEB) be requested.
