In the match against Austria on Sunday afternoon, the team of U18 women's national coach Sebastian Jones achieved a 1-0 victory. U18 women's national coach Sebastian Jones on the measure and the tournament: "The victory at the end of the tournament was important for us as a team after we were not satisfied with the results of the previous two days. We have basically made the desired progress in our game structure and system, which can also be seen in our overall strong defensive performance. In all three games we have created more chances and still have to learn how to translate that into the corresponding results. It is important to act patiently within the system in order to then score the goals. Nevertheless, we have drawn a positive overall conclusion from the measure, because we have already done a lot right in terms of game control. In the upcoming World Cup preparations we will work more on our effectiveness in attacking play. The two preparation international matches are also important for this. We are sure that we will then be optimally positioned for the World Cup in January."
