The German men’s national team is still waiting for its first victory at this year’s Deutschland Cup. The team of national coach Harold Kreis lost 2:6 against the selection from Slovakia on Saturday evening in an intense duel. Goal scorers for the DEBThe team were Luis Schinko and Daniel Schmölz.

The Slovakians didn't allow much after that: Schweiger narrowly missed in the 47th minute and Justin Schütz was also thwarted by Matej Tomek. Milos Roman made the preliminary decision in the 54th minute from a tight angle, and Michal Ivan even increased the score to 5:1 (56th). Daniel Schmölz met the 2:5 (57th), but with an empty-net goal by Takac the game ended 2:6 (60th).
