U16 national coach Robin Beckers: "The composition of the squad is the result of the scouting from last season and the impressions from our athletics program in May. In Füssen, we primarily want to get an overall overview of the new year. We are looking forward to completing the program with a 4-nation tournament and thus being able to compete directly at an international level. The main aim here is to lay a foundation, both in the technical and tactical areas, and to build a culture in the team. In addition to Florian Ondruschka and Dimitri Pätzold, Thomas Oppenheimer will be joining the coaching team, and the team will also benefit from his experience as a long-time DEL player."
