Six teams have this U20 playoff final reached. They meet in the top division Eisbären Berlin on EV Landshut and therefore play for the U20 championship. In the semi-finals Berlin against Krefeld in five games, while Landshut was able to secure a place in the final in five games against Düsseldorf.
In the first qualifying round, the Jungadler Mannheim and the ESV Kaufbeuren opposite, in the qualifying round 2 there will be a meeting between ESV 03 Chemnitz and the EHC 80 Nürnberg.
The final will be played in a best-of-five format in all three divisions. The first two final games will take place on March 30th and March 31st. First have Berlin, Mannheim and Chemnitz each have home rights due to the 250 kilometer rule.
For the next two match days (April 6th and April 7th) the home law will change accordingly. A possible deciding Game 5 in the three series will take place on April 9, 2024.
