In just over three weeks, the men's national team will start preparing for the 2024 IIHF World Championship in the Czech Republic (May 10 to 26, 2024). A total of eight games are scheduled for national coach Harold Kreis' team during the four preparation phases. To kick things off, we'll first go to the World Cup host country, the Czech Republic, before continuing "at home" in phase two.
Ticket sales for the reigning vice world champion's five home international matches have been in full swing since they went on sale. There are only a few seats left for the games in Kaufbeuren (April 18, 2024), Augsburg (April 20, 2024) and Wolfsburg (May 4, 2024). While phase two, three and four of the World Cup preparations (except for the game against Austria on April 27, 2024 in Zell am See) are taking place in front of the home crowd, national coach Harold Kreis' team is starting phase one with a road trip to the World Cup. host country.
