Second comparison within 24 hours against Slovakia: The men's perspective team had to come to the end in an exciting game 3:4 after extra time give up. As previously agreed, Florian Bugl started in goal, and striker Tim Wohlgemuth was once again the captain. Compared to the previous day, there was only a small change in the offensive line-up.
Both teams went into the game with good intentions, so there was no long testing. After just 50 seconds it had DEBselection showed the first good offensive action. But the hosts also played with pressure from the start. In the 12th minute, it was David Mudrak who put his team in front. But the German selection found a quick response through Luis Schinko (15th), who was able to equalize.
In the second half, both teams initially tried to stay focused. The game only opened up again in the middle of the third, which Danjo Leonhardt (31st) took advantage of to score the lead. The game now increased in intensity again. With a double strike from Róbert Džugan (37') and Alex Tamáši (38'), the hosts turned the game in their favor before the second break.
In the final section, the German team did everything they could to equalize and at the same time prevent the Slovaks' dangerous counterattacks. When goalie Florian Bugl left the goal in favor of a sixth field player in the 59th minute of the game, it was actually Tim Brunnhuber who scored the deserved equalizer DEB-Selection scored. Shortly afterwards, the German team received a penalty that was taken into overtime. Here Oliver Okuliar scored for the hosts to win after extra time.
DEB-National coach Harold Circle: “The final period of today's game was our strongest third of the two games. Overall, that was a big increase compared to yesterday. Basically, we saw two exciting, intense games, which is also what our Slovak coaching colleagues see. It was fast-paced, the players worked hard on both sides and everything was there. There were a lot of valuable insights for us as a coaching staff.”
striker Luis Schinko: “Overall it was a good move for us as a team. We improved third by third over the two games. We have grown together well in a short time and I think it was a great experience for the new guys at international level.
Luis Schinko was named the best German player. The event will take place tomorrow, Friday DEB-Select the journey home to Germany.
