Christian Sohlmann, trainer ERC Ingolstadt: “It was a very good game with the best two German teams that met here. Despite a few failures on both sides, it was a high-level game. In the end we were the slightly better team today, scored a nice goal and won the cup.”
Lena Düsterhöft, player ERC Ingolstadt: “The game was very even and both teams really wanted to take home the win today. It was a huge relief for us when the first goal was scored. It was really a balanced game on equal terms, which promises a lot of excitement heading into the DFEL playoffs.”
Waldemar Dietrich, trainer ECDC Memmingen: “We have a lot of injured strikers at the moment and we simply don’t have the power to score against such opponents. We had a few chances, but in the end it wasn't enough to win the game. We hope that we can rely on the missing players again for the playoffs.”
Nicola Eisenschmid, player ECDC Memmingen: “We got a bit tired towards the end of the game because we had already had a tough game yesterday. Unfortunately we didn't take advantage of the chances we had today. We will now work on a few little things and when it comes to the championship title, we will attack again.”
