“We want to use the World Cup to increase awareness and attention for our great sport in Germany and its neighboring countries,” says DEB-President Franz Reindl. “WE ARE ICE HOCKEY” is an online-based campaign that depicts the character of ice hockey in all its facets and aims to use the period between the home World Cup and the 2018 Winter Olympics with particularly attention-grabbing campaigns. “With the website wir-sind-eishockey.de we have already created a first point of contact that is intended to make it easier for those interested in ice hockey to get started with our sport,” explains Robert Schütt, who is responsible for the campaign as Head of Marketing/PR/Events at DEB, has significantly designed.
