Florian Ondruschka is the new head coach for talent development and club support at the Deutscher Eishockey-Bund with immediate effect (DEB) employed. He will succeed Ernst Höfner, who will retire at the end of 2023.
Ondruschka has been an assistant coach for the U16 men's and women's national teams for several years DEB in use. Optimal conditions for his new position in the area of talent development and club support. The 36-year-old also already has knowledge of the structures and processes within the association.
In his new position, the former professional player will take on the certification of ice hockey clubs according to the “5-star program” and will do this in collaboration with DEB-Sports director Christian Künast, the DEL and the DEL2 are constantly developing.
Together with the national coach of the U16 national team Robin Beckers, the U18 women's national coach Franziska Busch and the state coaches, Florian Ondruschka will develop and establish effective and modern scouting systems.
