The U16 men's national team lost 0-6 to the team from the Czech Republic in Romanshorn, Switzerland. U16 national coach Robin Beckers: "We started ambitiously and played very well, especially in the first ten minutes. We were playing well and had our chances. The Czech Republic simply played their power play and used it well over the course of the game. We then deviated from our game, were unfortunately often too slow in our decisions or too hasty in the forecheck and were given too many counterattacks. We were often unable to stop the game in the defensive zone. Offensively, we had some good opportunities, but we simply need to use them better. We will work on this to do better in the next game."
