That will happen tomorrow, Tuesday DEB-Women's team met in Füssen to begin preparation for the first international matches.

The German U18 women's team will also be hosting two European teams for the international tournament in Füssen this week. The team led by U18 women's national coach Franziska Busch will begin a multi-day training course including international matches at the national base in Füssen on Tuesday, August 22, 2023.
The highlight of the measure is the two international matches against Hungary (August 25.08th / 17 p.m.) and Italy (August 27.08th / 11 a.m.).
Women's national coach Jeff MacLeod: "I think our team will be focused and excited for each game. It's important that we take care of our bodies with three games in just over 48 hours. That's why we need to make sure the team is well rested and fully energized. We have a full roster and of course we will make sure we give all of our players ice time. We will also introduce our leadership groups during this exercise and set our goals for the new season together. We want to continue to present ourselves with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude."
U18 women’s national coach Franziska Busch: “We are pleased that we can play international games so early in the season and get feedback on our current status. We haven't played any international games since January, so it's good for us coaches to see how the guidelines are being implemented, what we still have to work on and how the players, especially those who have moved up from the U16, compare internationally push through. We will then continue to work with these findings. We expect intense games against two opponents against whom we had close results at the World Cup in January and who will really challenge us.”
