It's been almost exactly seven weeks to the day since the German men's national team was crowned runner-up in the world championships in Tampere, Finland. The first official reunion of the silver medalists took place in the Mannheim SAP Arena DEB-Media Day. The atmosphere was accordingly relaxed and the best World Cup anecdotes were exchanged.
Besides DEB-Men, players from the women's national team were also on site in Mannheim - the big topic here, the common one Deutschland Cup in November 2023 in Landshut. The field of participants was completed by players from the U20 team. During the Media Day, the sponsors and partners of the Deutscher Eishockey-Bund had the opportunity to do various shootings and interviews with the athletes and also the DEB- responsible person to carry out.
National team captain Daria Gleißner: “It was of course a great event together with the men and the U20 team. Especially with regard to our common Deutschland Cup In 2023 in Landshut it was exciting to be able to produce joint content today and be part of a day like this. That definitely increased the anticipation for the tournament in November.”
