Voices before the game against France on Tuesday.
National coach Harold Kreis: “We have to play our game again from the first face-off. We want to act compactly, penetrate the French third at speed and be stable defensively. The French are not easy opponents, they will play for their honor and show their best side tomorrow. But we will too, I’m sure.”
Captain Moritz Müller: “We want to keep playing like we have been doing before. We can't think too far ahead now, we'll play against France tomorrow. It feels like so many voices are coming from outside and think we’re already in the quarter-finals, but we’re not there yet.”
Striker Marcel Noebels: “We now have to pick up where we left off. It would be the wrong time to take your foot off the pedal. We are on the right track, we are developing and playing better and better. We are only focused on tomorrow, the game against France is ahead of us and nothing else. Whatever happens after that is the future. What’s important is that we play a good game tomorrow and do everything we can with self-confidence to move into the next round.”
