National coach Harold Kreis: “So far we have looked phase by phase at which players were available for which roles in the different phases and, in our opinion, have filled the positions in the best possible way. We would therefore like to take this opportunity to thank the players who are no longer there, but who played a key role in the positive development of the team. The team's commitment and dedication were exemplary, especially in the last two games against Slovakia. At the same time, we are now looking forward to the players, most of whom have been with their clubs for a long time and who are now joining us with great motivation. Together we want to take the next development steps with a view to the upcoming World Cup.”
