DEB-Sports director Christian Künast: “We are pleased that in Robin Beckers we were able to win a young, but already nationally and internationally experienced coach for our U16 men. Both during his time as assistant coach of our U16 national team and during his coaching training, he was able to convince us again and again of his qualities. We are convinced that Robin, with his experience and personality, is the right choice as national coach for the DEB-Young talent is.”
Designated U16 national coach Robin Beckers: “I am very much looking forward to my new role with the association and hope to be able to contribute my expertise as a national coach and to advance our youngest national players, together with the club and state coaches. It is a great honor for me to be able to take up this position and I will do everything I can to fill it in the best possible way. My main goal will continue to be to develop our players. After the last two years at DEB As a U16 assistant coach, I have already gained some insights into the work and have been able to gain a lot of experience. Taking on the main responsibility for this is also a valuable step for me personally.”
