National coach Harold Kreis has announced the squad for phase three of the World Cup preparations. A total of 27 players are in the squad for the two international matches against Slovakia. It's coming this Tuesday DEB-Selection together in Landshut before heading to Slovakia on Thursday. The next two games of the World Cup preparation are on the agenda next Friday (17:30 p.m. in Zilina) and Saturday (14:30 p.m. in Trencin).
Three goalkeepers, nine defenders and 15 strikers make up the 27-man squad for the third phase of World Cup preparations. Goalie Dustin Strahlmeier and defender Dominik Bittner (both Grizzlys Wolfsburg) to the national team. Also on board are the two strikers Dominik Bokk and Nico Sturm, who were last rested as a precautionary measure on Saturday (Bokk) and during the final third on Saturday (Sturm). The national players of the two DEL finalists from Ingolstadt and Munich will only join the team in phase four - as will NHL striker JJ Peterka (Buffalo Sabres).

On Tuesday afternoon the national team will meet again in Landshut to prepare for the trip to Slovakia. She travels on Thursday DEB-Selection to Slovakia, where further ice sessions are on the program to prepare for the two back-to-back international games against the Slovaks.
