For us, the first phase of the World Cup preparation represents a good opportunity to implement our basic idea of the style of play with a larger squad and thus build on the national team's recent performances. We are all particularly looking forward to the first encounters as part of the new constellation with the national team and of course the two international matches against the Czech Republic at the start of the World Cup preparations.”
DEB-Sports director Christian Künast: "First of all, I wish our national coach Harold Kreis, our assistant coach Alexander Sulzer and the newly assembled coaching staff every success in implementing the first measure. We are starting our World Cup preparations full of anticipation and will work together over the next few weeks to put together the best possible squad for the World Cup. The two international matches against the Czech Republic will be a big challenge for our national team right from the start.
