MagentaSport and the Deutscher Eishockey-Bund (DEB) are extending their partnership early by another four years until 2028. The current contract runs until 2024.
With the regular broadcast of top international tournaments for the women's national team and the U18 men's team, the new agreement includes a major expansion of the live offering.
The international matches of the men's national team as well as all games of the Deutschland Cups and the U20 Men's World Championships will remain part of the partnership.
The expanded offer will start in April 2023 with three world championships within six weeks:
- Women's World Cup: April 5 to 17, 2023 in Brampton (CAN)
- U18 World Cup Men: April 20th to 30th, 2023 in Basel and Ajoie (SUI)
- Men's World Cup: May 12 to 28, 2023 in Tampere (FIN) and Riga (LAT)
Also included in the package are the men's national team's World Cup preparation games. The team led by national coach Harold Kreis will play seven test games against the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia and the USA between April 13 and May 9, 2023.

Overall, this offers the largest live ice hockey offering in Germany and takes the content coverage and media reach of the national teams to a new level."
