Club launches fundraising campaign “The SAVE of his Life”
It was shocking news that reached Jan Dalgic, his family, the team and those responsible for the EC Hannover Indians on Thursday. The goalkeeper of the team from the Oberliga Nord was admitted to a hospital in Hanover as an emergency on the evening of his 25th birthday. The subsequent investigations revealed the shocking result of a malignant brain tumor, which required surgical removal and, fortunately, can be removed.
The club is in close contact with Jan Dalgic and his family and is discussing the best possible medical care. For this purpose, Jan's family will use a private medical clinic in Hanover, which has special surgical options and will therefore have the greatest possible chance of recovery for Jan Dalgic. Unfortunately, the costs for the difficult operation and the subsequent aftercare are very expensive.
The Hannover Indians are therefore asking the German ice hockey family to support Jan Dalgic's family.
Jan Dalgic is a fighter who now has to take the hardest path of his young life. He will not walk this path alone. The Indians family is behind him and the whole of ice hockey Germany will support him in his fight.
