Voices about the game:
Women's national coach Thomas Schädler: “In my opinion, we got into the game well at the start. The first 10 minutes went really well, but then we strayed from our line and couldn't find our way back as the game progressed. Of course we tried to make up the deficit, but unfortunately we didn't put enough pressure on the opponent's goal. This is now a game that we have lost. But there are still three more games in the preliminary round. We now have to concentrate on the game against Sweden.”
Striker Laura Kluge: “We started the game well and were able to score two goals. Unfortunately, the goal we conceded upset us. For the next game against Sweden we have to make sure we do the little things better so that we can reward ourselves with a win in the end.”
