As already known, Franz Reindl, Daniel Hopp and Berthold Wipfler will no longer run for the presidency at the general meeting of the Deutscher Eishockey-Bund. Marc Hindelang has announced that he will continue to be available.
Franz Reindl: “I look back on almost eight eventful, successful years with great pride and gratitude
as president and overall for more than 30 years DEB in a variety of ways
Areas of responsibility. German ice hockey has established itself as a sport DEB is
consolidated. Now it's time to look into the future and... DEB to reposition in leadership.
As previously announced, I will no longer be running in the upcoming elections.

Daniel Hope says: “I have enjoyed the office of Vice President for eight years
executed. Since 2014, a lot of things have been going right in German ice hockey

and good cooperation and especially Franz Reindl for his balanced and
goal-oriented leadership DEB. I will do my best to be my successor if necessary
support."
Berthold Wipfler says: “For age and health reasons, I am foregoing another one
Candidacy. I'm a little sad because I'm leaving a German family
Eishockey-Bund eV, which has developed positively during the eight years of my term in office
and is currently on sound financial footing despite the Corona crisis. I am happy,
to actively support my successor, who has yet to be elected, in the office of treasurer,
whoever that will be.”
