The Deutscher Eishockey-Bund e.V. (DEB) fills the position of Head of Communications. From now on, Daniel Goldstein will also be responsible for this role as press spokesman for the association.
The 45-year-old was responsible for public relations at the PENNY DEL Club for 20 years Eisbären Berlin and most recently worked as a freelance journalist and podcaster. Goldstein will be the contact person for all media inquiries on the one hand, as well as the channels on the other hand DEB responsible and bring the necessary ideas for how the diverse spectrum of association work can be represented in the future. He is taking over the position of the previous head of communications, Ruben Stark, where the DEB for his work and commitment over the past two years.
Daniel Goldstein: “The best place to continue to actively support the development of ice hockey is in its association. It's definitely about the men's national team. It is just as important for me DEB also to support the promotion of women's and young talent ice hockey as well as the work in the top leagues in order to increase public awareness of ice hockey. In addition, as one of the most well-known sports associations in the republic, it has a social responsibility. This must be accepted, sharpened and communicated."
