Yesterday, Tuesday, the U18 men's national team around national coach Alexander Dück met in Füssen. With a view to the U18 World Championships in Kaufbeuren and Landshut in April, the team has a total of seven ice sessions on the program before three games against Switzerland at the weekend. A guest game in Romanshorn on Friday will be followed by two further games in Füssen for the U18 team on Saturday and Sunday. Spectators are permitted in both Romanshorn and Füssen under the well-known 2G+ regulations. This means that in addition to the 2G proof, a negative test result is required. Boosted people are excluded from the obligation to test.
U18 national coach Alexander Dück: “Our goal for this course is to deepen and consolidate our structures and principles in the defensive zone. We want to become even more of a unit as a team, both on and off the ice. We use the games to identify any weaknesses and improve them. At the same time, we don’t want to neglect our strengths.”
