This Monday evening the German men's national team will meet in Krefeld to prepare for the three tournament games from Tuesday Deutschland Cup 2021 in the YAYLA ARENA. Due to short-term absences, national coach Toni Söderholm made six changes to the squad as the last measure before the Olympic Games in Beijing.
In the goalkeeper position, Söderholm has to do without Danny aus den Birken (Red Bull Munich), but Andreas Jenike was replaced by the Iserlohn Roosters re-nominated. In defense, Kai Wissmann moves away Eisbären Berlin for national team captain Moritz Müller (Kölner Haie) in the squad.
There are four changes in the offensive: Lucas Dumont, Sebastian Uvira (both Kölner Haie) Alexander Ehl (Düsseldorfer EG) and Taro Jentzsch (Iserlohn Roosters) were called up to the squad at short notice, with the 21-year-old Jentzsch making his debut in the men's national team. Dominik Kahun (SC Bern), Maximilian Kastner, Justin Schütz (both Red Bull Munich) and Andreas Eder (Straubing Tigers).

On Tuesday and Wednesday are for the DEB-Select multiple training sessions and team meetings on the program. On Thursday, November 11th, 2021 (game starts at 19:45 p.m., live on MagentaSport), the game kicks off against Russia.
