On May 19.05th Teamsport Deutschland called on the petition and campaign “Outside must be inside” launched by the DFB and DOSB to be supported and to draw attention to the importance of resuming sports for children and young people.
The petition ended today (https://www.dfb.de/amateurfussball/petition/) and we would like to thank all the numerous participants and supporters. Ice hockey in Germany was also happy to support this campaign. Both the Deutscher Eishockey-Bund, as well as all regional associations and several clubs showed their colors.
The restart of training and competition is essential for popular sports. We not only want to create a perspective for young athletes, but also fulfill our social and societal obligation in this regard, because training and playing in team sports has educational aspects and maintains structures that are indispensable for social and central societal tasks .
