With three goalkeepers, nine defensemen and 14 forwards, the German national ice hockey team is entering phase three of preparation for the 2021 IIHF World Championships in Riga, Latvia (May 21 to June 6), and thus the penultimate phase in Nuremberg. National coach Toni Söderholm's team will meet again in Middle Franconia from Tuesday, where they will continue to work intensively on building their form and developing the game system. DEB-Coach Söderholm appointed seven new players to the selection of the Deutscher Eishockey-Bund compared to the previous week. In addition to an Ingolstadt duo with Fabio Wagner and Tim Wohlgemuth, five professionals are joining the team Adler Mannheim to the team.
