The DEBThe team is currently in part two of its World Cup preparations at the national base and will be doing another performance comparison with the Austrians on Thursday (11am). After a week of home training, the hot phase of getting ready for the season's highlight begins on April 16. Until the departure to Canada on April 22, the DEB-Women train in a bubble and are then already subject to the testing requirements for the World Cup. Ice training will only be possible at the World Cup venue from May 1st.

The start of the World Cup for the DEB-Women will face Japan on May 6th (18 p.m. German time), other opponents in preliminary group B in Truro will be the Czech Republic (May 8th), Hungary (May 10th) and Denmark (May 11th). Shortly before the start of the tournament, a third World Cup test is planned for the German team.
Young Talent national coach Franziska Busch: “We improved from third to third. You could already tell that the players hadn't played for a while. Overall it was a good and compact performance, we were able to implement some things that we had trained before and know what we still need to work on for tomorrow. The five goals are also nice for us, that's not a given. We worked hard for all the goals and spent a lot of time in the offensive zone. Now we want to put in another good performance for another 60 minutes tomorrow and try to keep the pace up.”
