Audience admission to international matches is still not foreseeable, which is why the Deutscher Eishockey-Bund, together with the organizers of the planned games, has decided to refund tickets. All spectators who purchased tickets for the five home international games of the German national ice hockey team in April/May 2020 will now have the full purchase price refunded upon request.
Last year he had DEB initially agreed with the planned venues to postpone the entire international match program by twelve months, thereby allowing the tickets to remain valid. Since the overall situation in the corona pandemic has not changed significantly in this respect, the ice hockey governing body is now making this offer.
Since an increasingly serious and worrying situation has now arisen at the ice hockey base and especially among young ice hockey talent, the DEB the possibility of ticket refund with an alternative. Every cardholder is free not to demand a refund for the tickets purchased, but rather to donate it to the benefit of young German ice hockey talent or local projects.
After the Euro Hockey Challenge was canceled with the intended alternative dates for this year, planning for the World Cup preparations is currently underway. The international matches in the run-up to the 2021 World Cup in Riga, Latvia (May 21 to June 6, 2021) should be decided soon. Since the DEB If all international matches in the current season are planned without spectators, the tickets for all games listed will no longer be valid.
