The Deutscher Eishockey-Bund (DEB) is realigning its press and public relations work. Sports journalist Ruben Stark will be head of the communications department from April 1, 2020. The 42-year-old has worked for the Sports Information Service (SID) in Munich for the past nine years and has a profound wealth of experience. The department is intended to prepare the department structurally for the future challenges of journalistic association work and to develop it further against the background of the extensively increased media requirements.
Ruben Stark: “I am really looking forward to the new task and find the path exciting DEB along the far-reaching “Powerplay 2026” concept. I would like to contribute my part to the future success of the association and ensure that the positive development of recent years continues.”

His previous experiences in various activities and positions represent us as DEB represents added value with regard to the increased sports journalism challenges in the media age.
