MagentaSport shows all international ice hockey matches in the run-up to the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship free of charge. Ice hockey fans can watch the games without registering. Christoph Ullmann from the Augsburger Panthern will accompany the first game on February 6th as an expert. The commentator is Basti Schwele.
The German U25 top team in Beijing will kick off the international matches. The team plays in Switzerland. The World Cup will also take place here from May 8th to 24th, 2020. This is followed by a series of games for the national team against Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Belarus in the EuroHockeyChallenge competition. The last official international match before the World Cup is scheduled for May 5th in Mannheim. The enemy is the USA.
Depending on how the season goes in the USA, German NHL stars will also join the team.

SPORT1 will also broadcast a game against Slovakia (not yet scheduled), the game against the Czech Republic on April 18th and against Belarus on April 25th live on television. There are also three highlight summaries of the remaining games.
