In the final period, the Kazakhs increased the score after just 92 seconds thanks to Stanislav Alexander to 3:0. However, it was the Kazakhs who won in the 57th minute with a goal from Denis Chaparov celebrated their 4-goal lead into the empty goal. A minute and a half before the end, Luis scored Shinko to the final score of 1:4.
Tobias Abstreiter, U20 national coach: “It wasn’t the game we imagined. The Kazakhs were more aggressive in the duels and thus also forced the scoring. We need exactly this aggressiveness in the deciding game tomorrow in order to be able to finish the tournament successfully.”
