The further training for the A trainers and the network forum of the Deutscher Eishockey-Bund (DEB) have as part of the Deutschland Cups attracted over 60 participants and numerous renowned speakers to Düsseldorf/Kaarst.
On 8 and 9 November 2019, the A-training with 35 trainers. On the first day of the event, Karl Schwarzenbrunner (DEB Federal trainer for science and training) first about the news from the association. Later, the event focused on the topics “Transition”, “Leadership” and “Athletics/Big Data”. For this he had DEB specially the renowned speakers Harry Kreis (trainer Düsseldorfer EG) and Jens Rasiejewski (football teacher) were invited. On the second day of the event, everything revolved around sports psychology for the participants. In the morning, speaker Annika Hof zum Berge, who works as a sports psychologist in the VfL Bochum 1848 talent center, discussed “conflict management” and “coach well-being”.
The DEB Network forum celebrated its premiere on November 9th and 10th, 2019 in Düsseldorf/Kaarst. The event was launched to offer young talent coordinators, coaches, sporting directors and club boards a free platform for exchange. 30 participants accepted the invitation and submitted their topic requests in advance. Based on these requests, an individual catalog of topics was put together for the two days of the event. At the start, Ernst Höfner and Ullrich Liebsch (club support) gave a lecture on the 5-star program and explained the contents to the participants. The newly created Urmel badge and the associated club events were subsequently presented by Julia Mayer (DEB Project managers) presented. On the second day of the event, Annika Hof zum Berge and Irmelin Brigitta Otten (President HamburgThe Eis- und Rollerstportverband eV) on the topics of “conflict management” and “recommendations for action for parents’ evenings” and ensured a worthy conclusion to the two days of the event.
