Women's national team: 5-nation tournament in Russia

From November 5th to 11th, the women's national team will compete in the 5-nation tournament of the Euro Women's Hockey Tour in Dmitrov (Russia). After the first two training sessions on November 5th and 6th, 2019, the DEB-Selection on the second day of the tournament (November 7th, 17.00:17.00 p.m. CET) against hosts Russia. The next game against the team from the Czech Republic is on the following day at XNUMX p.m. before the DEB-Selection will face the Finnish selection on November 9th from 13.00 p.m. At the end of the tournament, the German women's national team will face Switzerland on November 10th at 13.00 p.m. Women's national coach Christian Künast nominated two goalkeepers, seven defenders and 13 strikers for the tournament.

Christian Künast, women’s national coach: “The tournament in Dmitrov is an important benchmark for our team. We face three nations from World Cup Group A: Finland, Russia and Switzerland, and an opponent from our own Group B, the Czech Republic. For our team, these are the first international games in two months on the way to the World Cup. All players can already apply for the World Cup squad at this tournament.”
